There is a lot of oh ha about the iPhone tracking you everywhere you go, For me I'm not bothered, For 1 I am not doing anything I shouldn't be & 2 if someone wants to find then they will. Also the tracking data isn't very accurate heres my map to the left as you can see i've been to wales (no I haven't) I've been to Newcastle (no I haven't) I've also been to Wolverhampton (Again no I haven't) in fact there are loads of places I haven't been to that are pinpointed on the map. So am I bothered about this file? No. if you are then throw away your phone, your computer in-fact possibly any electrical device you have because you are been watched.
A strange thing happened tonight with my iPhone 4, I plugged my iPhone into my computer via the usb lead and imported some photos that I had taken that day, then left the pone in to charge up, when I came back to it a couple of hours later I found the screen was showing the the words Dragon fly" and a Dismiss button on the screen, I have no idea what it means or what has caused it, If anyone else has had this happen and you know why then let me know. Well Apple have pulled the Camera+ app from the App Store because it had an option to enable the volume buttons as a shutter release, Apple's official stance on this is that you can't do this because it might cause confusion to the user. How thick does apple think it's users are? and anyway how many functions does the home button have on an iPhone? Here is a LIST: 1. Wakes the phone from sleep 2. Closes Apps 3. Moves back to the home screen 4. Opens Spotlight from the home screen 5. Brings up the last used apps list (iOS4) 6. Displays the iPod controls when the phone is locked 7. Activates the Voice Control That's just the ones I know about. So this reason they have is just pointless, let the app developers do it and make the software work the way we want. So if you have version 1.2.1 of Camera+ you can enable the Volume Shutter by going to this address in Safari on your iPhone camplus://enablevolumesnap and if you get confused by using the volume buttons as a shutter button you can disable it by going to this address camplus://disablevolumesnap I've done it and it works a treat. Steve Jobs you know that guy on the big screen in the Macintosh 1984 add? That's you that is!! I have finally got an iPhone 4 and have been downloading some photo apps to go with it, The one I like best is the Hipstamatic camera that produces some really cool retro looking photo effects. It looks like I will have to set up a new page just for this app. In the post below I was trying to put a post using my iPhone but I couldn't type anything in the Blog post widget as this part is a flash element.
This is your new blog post. Click here and start typing, or drag in elements from the top bar.
